Grieco Acura is proud to be part of the Grieco Automotive Group — a family-run organization built on hard work, customer care, and nearly five decades of experience in the automotive industry. Being part of this group means we share the same commitments: treating people with respect, offering a welcoming experience, and showing up for our community every day.

How It All Started

The story begins in 1975, when Michael Grieco Sr. opened his first business, Universal Claim Service, a collision center in Rhode Island. A few years later came Vantage Motor Sales, followed by the family’s first new-car franchise in 1995, now known as Grieco Honda. As more stores were added, the Grieco Automotive Group came together to help guide the growing business.

Leadership later transitioned to Michael Grieco Jr., who today is one of the youngest automotive CEOs in the country. Under his guidance, the group expanded to include multiple manufacturers and locations across the country — including the Acura dealership we proudly call home.

A Growing Network With a Clear Purpose

Today, the Grieco Automotive Group includes dealerships across Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Florida, and California. Brands within the group range from Acura and BMW to Ford, Honda, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, and more. Each store operates with the same goal: provide a consistent, customer-first experience that makes buying and owning a vehicle feel comfortable and easy to navigate.

Grieco Acura brings that mission to Seekonk, offering the resources of a large automotive family while keeping the personal, local feel that matters to our community.

More Than Sales and Service

The group also operates two eco-friendly collision centers — one in Johnston, Rhode Island and another in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. These facilities use waterborne paint systems and strong recycling programs to help reduce environmental impact while delivering high-quality repairs.

Community at the Center

Giving back has always been a major part of the Grieco family’s identity. Cathy Grieco has helped lead charitable efforts for decades, supporting organizations like St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Special Olympics, The Humane Society, Toys for Tots, Feeding America, Hasbro Children’s Hospital, and many more. Employees across all stores volunteer their time and participate in local outreach efforts throughout the year.
